Toolbox

The toolbox offers useful references, grouped by theme, to provide quick access to practical content and tools related to the topic in question.

  • Projet Impact collectif (PIC) supports collective change initiatives in Montreal neighborhoods to help reduce poverty and social exclusion. This innovative project relies on collaboration, experimentation and learning with all its community, institutional and philanthropic partners. The vision and cross-cutting effects of the CIP are described on page 7 of the document. Evaluation Plan Phase 2.

Through its support, the PIC offers a variety of activities (training, coaching, collective exchange) aimed at strengthening the capacities of local partners to carry out their planning, implementation and learning capture processes. Details of these support activities can be found in this document entitled Menu of possibilities.

Each year, discussions with local partners help to identify support needs. Among this information gathering, we note the need to have access to references to facilitate knowledge transfer and the animation of collective approaches at all stages of development (planning, implementation, intensification).

  • The main aim of this toolbox is to provide a complementary lever to the support activities offered to strengthen the collective capacity to act.

    It also aims to :

    • Clarify certain concepts that are fundamental to collective change initiatives.

    • Facilitating the lives of all those in charge and involved, as well as the integration of new people into collective initiatives for change.

    • Consolidate and improve references for the various training courses offered to support the deployment of collective initiatives for change.
