EDI is an approach that takes into account intersectionalities to create a learning environment conducive to exchange and rich encounters.
Epistemic justice
A 10 minutes 10 seconds video that explores the crucial importance of epistemic justice and the fundamental issues at stake. It gives us a better understanding of the posture of epistemic justice, which aims to give credence to the words of people living in situations of poverty and social exclusion, and to use their knowledge to remedy neighborhood issues.

The wheel of privilege
A tool for better understanding the concepts of intersectionality and privilege. It enables us to take into account the different forms of discrimination experienced by a person, which do not add up but intertwine and reinforce each other. This instrument could be used to begin to address the subject and give actors an idea of their power or marginalization within an intersectional framework.

Developed by Concordia University's Office of Community Engagement, this guide is intended for individuals and organizations interested in building relationships with Aboriginal peoples, organizations and communities. It presents the key principles and values of collaboration, encourages reflection on the motivations that drive those interested in reaching out to Aboriginal communities, and provides advice on how to move from reflection to action.
