The SAVEUR Festival displays its colors in Saint-Michel

From May 23 to 25, 2024Joseph François-Perreault Park was alive with cultural and food discoveries at the Festival SAVEUR de Saint-Michel. This event was an opportunity for the neighborhood to come together in a festive atmosphere to discover the food system in place in the district. The event was the fruit of close collaboration between the festival's planning committee and a number of local organizations, including : À Portée De Main, Vivre Saint-Michel en santé, TOHU, the borough, Maison d'Haïti, Union Urbaine, Ciné-Quartier and Le Moulin à vent..

The PIC team was on hand on May 24 and 25 to witness the neighborhood's enthusiasm for the festival and the multitude of socio-cultural activities (circus initiation, painting workshop, sports activities, local produce tasting, to name but a few) offered to participants.

The festival featured numerous booths from organizations working in the borough, as well as artists and craftspeople. Everyone was able to learn more about the resources available to the community in a festive atmosphere. The SAVEUR Festival was a celebration of diversity, inclusion and living together, embodying the dynamic spirit of the Saint-Michel district.

We're looking forward to the next edition, which will take place in the last week of September 2024, and congratulate everyone involved in organizing an event of this magnitude!
