Re-imagining Francon to open up Saint-Michel

About this project

For many years, residents and community agencies in Saint-Michel have been concerned about how different sectors in the neighbourhood are cut off from each other. This problem is due in particular to the Francon Quarry and Complexe environnemental de Saint-Michel, which are major obstacles that many residents have to get around every day on their way to school or work or to access services.

To solve this problem, the Collective Impact Project is supporting a plan to transform the Francon quarry as one of many solutions to open up the territory.

Residents and agencies in the area were invited by Vivre Saint-Michel en santé to share their ideas on the future of the Francon quarry during Saint-Michel’s “Francon, ♥ de notre quartier” citizen forum.
