What are the lessons learned from Year 4 of the CIP?
The Niska Cooperative has created an infographic of its global look at the main advances and challenges in the 17 neighbourhoods that have received support from the project.
In addition to this analysis, Niska has also reported on the development of collaborative work in each of the five neighbourhoods receiving intensive support. You can read these portraits in the report’s appendices.

CROSS-CUTTING EVALUATION 2018-2019
In spring 2019, the Niska Cooperative carried out a cross-cutting evaluation on local communities. It asked 70 stakeholders from the five neighbourhoods receiving intensive CIP support to get involved in different types of data collection:
- Individual interviews with key stakeholders.
- Online survey and participatory evaluation workshops in all five neighbourhoods.
- A “grande rencontre” with about forty stakeholders from the neighbourhoods, Centraide, Dynamo and the CIP Steering Committee.
Created from the results of this cross-cutting evaluation, the infographic helps us grasp how the five neighbourhoods receiving intensive CIP support are advancing toward their goals.
