About Ahunstic

CITIZEN VOICES

What could be more engaging than transforming your neighbourhood by getting residents involved?

Citizens are full-fledged actors in social development. A neighbourhood roundtable does not provide turnkey solutions. In Ahuntsic, local stakeholders believe that stimulating citizen involvement and collective reflection are effective ways to fight poverty and social exclusion.

Although this neighbourhood may look well-off, it hides pockets of poverty where the community must address issues related to access to food as well as urban and community development. But how? By strengthening citizen engagement for the common good, community agencies are helping to create conditions for togetherness.
