School-Family-Community project

About this project

The arrival of many new immigrants in Saint-Léonard has led to growing and specific needs when it comes to their knowledge of the Quebec education system. Stakeholders share a strong consensus about the challenges facing these newcomers and about how to mitigate the impact of these challenges on their children.

This project aims to increase opportunities to engage parents in their child’s academic environment and give these children better tools to transition to their new schools. This work will be structured to encourage the best possible collaboration between the school, community agencies and families.
